Our Story
We believe the future belongs on your face.
FrameVision was founded on a simple conviction: the most powerful computer you own should disappear into your life, not demand your attention.
Invisible by design
The best interface is no interface. We design for disappearance.
Privacy first
Your data stays on your device. Always. No exceptions.
Built to last
We use materials that age well and offer lifetime frame repair on every model.
Honest about limits
We don't ship features that aren't ready. We'd rather delay than disappoint.
Brand Story
Born from frustration.
Our founders — a neuroscientist, a materials engineer, and a product designer — met at a wearables conference in Vancouver and shared the same complaint: every smart glasses product on the market was either embarrassingly ugly, painfully uncomfortable, or laughably underpowered.
They left that conference with a shared obsession: build the glasses they actually wanted to wear. Not a prototype. Not a concept. A product worthy of a permanent place on your face.
Three years in a lab.
The first two years were spent on materials alone. Titanium alloys that flex without fatiguing. Acetate composites that hold their shape in heat and cold. Hinges machined to tolerances tighter than a Swiss watch.
The third year cracked the hardest problem: miniaturising an AI chipset powerful enough to run real-time inference — without a fan, without a battery the size of a brick, and without cooking your temples.
Worn in 40 countries.
FrameVision glasses are now worn by athletes, architects, surgeons, and students across 40 countries. We ship three models — Sport, Casual, and Premium — each engineered for a different life, all sharing the same AI-powered core.
We are still a small team. We still argue about millimetres. We still believe that the best technology is the kind you forget you're wearing.
The Technology
What's inside.
Every FrameVision model is built around the same proprietary AI core — a system we spent four years designing from scratch.
FrameOS
Our custom operating system runs entirely on-device. No cloud dependency, no latency, no privacy risk. Every inference happens in under 8 milliseconds — faster than a human blink.
NeuralLens
A micro-OLED projection system with a 120° field of view and 2000-nit peak brightness. Visible in direct sunlight. Invisible to anyone looking at you.
BioSense
Temple-mounted sensors track heart rate, SpO2, skin conductance, and micro-expressions — building a continuous picture of your cognitive and physical state.
AdaptiveFrame
A shape-memory alloy frame system that learns the geometry of your face over the first 72 hours of wear and micro-adjusts to maintain a perfect fit.
SoundField
Bone conduction and open-ear speaker arrays that deliver spatial audio without isolating you from your environment — engineered to sound natural at any volume.
PowerCell
A graphene-composite battery cell that charges to 80% in 18 minutes and delivers up to 20 hours of mixed use — the longest runtime in the category.
The Team
Small on purpose.
We keep the team tight so every person has a direct line to the product. No committees. No layers.
Dr. Mara Osei
Co-founder & CEO
Neuroscientist turned product obsessive. Former research lead at the UBC Brain Research Centre. Mara sets the vision and makes sure we never ship something she wouldn't wear herself.
James Whitfield
Co-founder & CTO
Materials engineer with 12 patents in wearable hardware. James designed the AdaptiveFrame system and leads all hardware R&D from our Vancouver workshop.
Priya Nair
Co-founder & CPO
Industrial designer with a background in luxury eyewear. Priya spent five years at a Milanese frame house before joining FrameVision to prove that smart glasses don't have to look smart.
Tomás Reyes
Head of AI
Former ML lead at a major autonomous vehicle company. Tomás built FrameOS from the ground up and holds the record for the fastest on-device inference time in the wearables category.
